This release is a port of Blokkal to KDE4. Additionally, support for crossposting entries has been introduced and the syntax highlighting feature has been improved. As this release is the first after the port to KDE4, it might be a bit rough around the edges and some things may not work quite as expected. But the basic features like posting and editing entries work as before.
The source code is available here. Sorry, no binaries this time.

Binary packages and the sources are available at SourceForge.
Entries can now be written offline and will be posted the next time the account connects to the server. Additionally, entries can be saved to a local file.
The LiveJournal plugin is now capable of editing the friendslist, so Blokkal has now the functionality of KLiveJournal minus a few bugs.

[music |Black Box Recorder - Swinging]

I just wanted to post a notice, that KLiveJournal is no longer maintained. While trying to add some new features I ran into some major problems that were not easy to resolve. Actually I decided, that it'd be easier to start from scratch. The result of this effort is Blokkal. It is designed to support multiple protocols (and multiple acconuts), but currently is supports just livejournal.
It supports most of the features that KLiveJournal has, but you cannot manage your friends at the moment. So there is no need to switch to Blokkal right now, if KLiveJournal is working for you. As Blokkal has somehow evolved form KLiveJournal I will continue to post updates to this group. If you want to try out Blokkal, you can get it from here.
As always, comments and suggestions are appreciated.

It has been a while since the last time, but version 0.5 is now available here and here. Installation instructions are available here.

This release adds support for automatic notifications of updates on your friends page (events and comments, requires a paid account here), simple HTML syntax highlightling and improved drag&drop support, allowing you to just drag links into the editor text edit instead of having to copy and paste. Also, KLiveJournal now has a german translation. If you are using Gentoo and are feeling lucky today, you might want to try installing with this ebuild. It is based on the one provided by arnebab. it is not tested though, as I have no Gentoo box available.
